Overview

This position will include responsibilities for printing, picking, packing and processing shipments for our 3PL clients. This will require the use of forklifts 30% of the time for picking and packing. It is required to transition on and off the forklift throughout the shift as needed to complete assigned tasks. It's expected to be able to lift 25 lbs without a team lift and to utilize a team lift for everything heavier than 25 lbs. It is required to use a hand scanner for picking and packing orders, depending on the system and client. To keep the workspace safe and clean. To work well in a diverse team.

General Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical, operative and clerical tasks associated with shipment printing, picking, packing and processing (usage of scanners for picking and packing). Ensure accurate shipping information is attached and packages are shipped according to specified schedule.
  • Operate warehouse forklift in accordance with established procedures as needed to maintain the warehouse stock
  • Quality Check (QC) the picked orders before packing the order to go out
  • Successfully band and wrap skids in a timely manner for shipment
  • Effectively communicate within the team as well as with the clients
  • Verifies stock availability and replenishes as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands are deemed necessary
  • Clean and tidy your assigned area of the warehouse
  • Actively practice safe operation of forklifts/equipment
  • Maintain product inventory accuracy

Qualifications

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • 1 year 3PL experience Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • WMS (warehouse management systems) (Medium proficiency)
  • General Computer Skills (Medium proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Forklift Certification Required
