The Corporate Accounting Manager assists in the preparation of financial statements and ensures compliance with accounting standards. In addition, this role provides direction on policies, procedures, and continuous improvement objectives as they relate to financial reporting. This role will have direct relationships with the following parties: Executive leadership, Finance management, Regional and Station management. In this role the Corporate Accounting Manager will develop the organization’s accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives and advise leadership of potential changes in accounting regulations or practices that may impact global operations and reporting.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field (Required)
• Master's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field (Preferred)
Experience
• 5+ years experience in general accounting (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Licenses and Certifications
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - (Required)
