The Non-Trade Accounts Payable Rep will be part of a team of 3 within the Non-Trade Accounts Payable department. This department is responsible for onboarding new non-trade vendors, maintaining current nontrade vendors, completing timely payments to our non-trade vendors and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Over time, this teammate will have opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects and take part in other cross-functional collaborations. This position will be responsible for assisting with current operating system maintenance, determining the root cause of issues, reducing errors, reviewing processes, and seeking efficiency improvement opportunities. This position will be viewed as a partner to other areas within the Corporate Finance department, especially with the GL Team, as well as other departments and locations in AIT, helping the Corporate Finance department's vision of achieving world class customer service.
Education
• High School Diploma (Required) and
• Associate's Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 2+ years Experience in Accounting or Finance (Required) and
• 2+ years Knowledge of or experience with business principles, accounting procedures and GAAP (Preferred) and
• 2+ years previous experience within the freight industry, IT related functions, or within the Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus (Preferred)
