Overview
The Regional Carrier Analyst will be responsible of supporting the AIT Middle Mile Network by sourcing and managing transportation providers. This includes negotiating competitive rates, ensuring carrier compliance with company standards, and maintaining strong working relationships. The role also involves reviewing service agreements and managing billing contracts to ensure smooth financial operations. Overall, the position plays a key role in optimizing carrier performance and cost-efficiency within the logistics network.
Responsibilities
- Carrier Sourcing and Vetting - identify, research and evaluate new transportation providers to ensure they meet company standards for safety and compliance
- Project Management - Coordination of connectivity projects to ensure EDI connectivity is implemented and remains intact for assigned regional carriers.
- Relationship Management - develop strong relationships with regional carriers, acting as the primary point of contact and resolving service issues or disputes.
- Rate Negotiation and Market Analysis - Negotiate competitive rares with carriers and monitor market trends to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Contract and Compliance Oversight - review and manage service agreements, ensuring all carriers comply with company policies, service level agreements(SLAs) and regulatory compliance.
- Billing and Invoice Management - oversee billing contracts, set payment terms, manage invoice submissions, and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure accurate financial processing.
- Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with Carriers regarding service performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field (Preferred)
Experience
• 3+ years experience in the transportation industry (Required)
• 4+ years experience in pricing, sales, or financial analysis (Preferred)
