Overview
The Project Specialist will support a variety of cross-functional initiatives related to mergers & acquisitions (M&A), real estate portfolio management, and operations enablement. This entry-level position plays a key role in ensuring timely execution and documentation of project deliverables while gaining exposure to high-impact business processes.
Responsibilities
- M&A Documentation & Project Coordination:
- Support the development of project documentation, templates, and checklists (e.g., synergy tracking, station go-live, cross-selling readiness, change management).
- Maintain and update project plans in response to lessons learned and post-project reviews.
- Schedule and coordinate cross-functional meetings and maintain action logs.
- Real Estate Portfolio Support:
- Assist with real estate demand management, including intake coordination and prioritization tracking.
- Organize and participate in follow-up meetings with key stakeholders (GBS, IT Infrastructure, Marcom, HR, Finance & Accounting, Sales).
- Update and maintain the locations database and corresponding Power BI dashboards used by sales and executive teams.
- Operations Training Support:
- Coordinate with operational leaders (e.g., Joe and David) to facilitate onboarding and knowledge transfer regarding field operations.
- Track learning activities and develop an understanding of training timelines and milestones.
- Ongoing Support and Development:
- Support continuous process improvement efforts and change management communication.
- Gain eventual exposure to Contract Logistics (CL) and broader supply chain solutions.
- Participate in cross-departmental special projects to deepen understanding of business infrastructure.
- May assist in other projects and processes as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) (Required)
Experience
• 1+ years project management experience (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment Medium
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to engage with multiple departments Low
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus Medium
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and maintaining attention to detail under time constraints Medium
• Curious, proactive, and willing to learn and grow across multiple areas of the business Medium
• General knowledge and understanding of freight forwarding Low
Licenses and Certifications
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI - (Preferred)
