Overview

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision for AIT's in-country systems. This role will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define how AIT's will deliver benefits to the business, customers, and partners. This role will also measure how effectively AIT do so and identify/address top areas for improvement.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the development and execution of the product strategy for our in-country systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features based on market needs and business goals.

  • Identify potential risks and challenges in development and implementation, mitigate risks and ensure successful product launches.

  • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Work closely with engineering, operations, customers and vendors to ensure successful product implementation and adoption.



  • Act as the subject matter expert for freight forwarding products, providing guidance and support to internal teams and clients.

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and iterate on features to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements within the freight forwarding industry.

  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, to stay informed about industry developments and enhance product offerings.

Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree (Required) or

• Master's Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred)

Experience
• 10+ years proven experience as a Product Owner/Manager, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. (Required)

• 10+ years Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, freight operations, and logistics technologies. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. High

• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative. High

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and countries. High

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders. High

• Thrive in a highly collaborative, agile, continuous discovery and continuous delivery mindset High

• Strong leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to achieving organizational goals. High

• A passion for innovation and continuous improvement within the freight forwarding domain. High
