Overview

The Business Systems Analyst will support all areas of IT by understanding the diverse business need and product offerings, as well as the technology systems that support our business.  This position will primarily focus on our customers’ business needs and offer products and/or solutions to meet those needs. 

Responsibilities

  • Working with customers and/or business stakeholders to accurately capture business requirements for new projects and customer onboarding
  • Work with IT team members to review and clarify requirements as needed and act as the liaison between business project stakeholders and IT
  • Responsible for technical documentation of system components and processes
  • Maintains and manages customer service requests that are routed via our Service Desk
  • Manages and monitors existing functionalities and defines new functionality as needed for application integrity
  • Interfaces with internal and external technical staff to define application solutions and resolve problems as needed
  • Manage incident workflow from initial reporting to final resolution including incident handoffs with outsourced 3rd party organizations
  • Collaborate with IT to develop detailed project specifications
  • Conduct testing and deliver training related material for new customer IT enhancements
  • Contribute to a knowledge base of known problems and resolutions for customers and sales to resolve problems on their own
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Other Skills We Hope to See:

  • Minimum 5 years related work experience and / or training
  • Ability to effectively present and promote technology and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
  • Work with customers to resolve their business problems or inefficiencies using technology and business process
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
