Overview

The Manager, Global Account Management leads a team of account professionals responsible for servicing key global clients. The role ensures consistent, high-quality service delivery by aligning cross-functional efforts, monitoring performance against strategic goals, and fostering strong client relationships to drive retention and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day guidance and motivation to team members by setting clear expectations, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Inspire ownership and accountability through coaching and regular feedback.
  • KPI & SLA Oversight: Monitor client-mandated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent delivery against contractual targets. Proactively identify performance risks and implement corrective actions while recognizing opportunities for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Champion a mindset of continuous improvement by analyzing operational challenges, identifying root causes, and proposing data-driven solutions. Leverage cross-team synergies to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate multiple projects or initiatives from initiation through execution. Manage schedules, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes, while maintaining alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure internal processes adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct periodic reviews and implement updates to maintain compliance and mitigate operational risk.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction with end-to-end service delivery across North America. Act as a key point of contact for issue resolution and service enhancement.

  • The wage range for this position is $56,200.00-$114,700.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Required) and
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience
• 5+ years client relationship management experience (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently use Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, documentation, and communication. High
• Skilled in building interactive dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making; ability to extract insights from complex datasets and present findings clearly to stakeholders. Medium
• Familiarity with CargoWise logistics platform, including shipment tracking, documentation workflows, and operational modules; ability to navigate and utilize system features to support supply chain activities. Medium
• Capable of conveying information clearly and professionally across diverse audiences; builds positive relationships and collaborates effectively with internal teams and external partners. High
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate tasks across teams; experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects from initiation to completion. High
• Works collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues; fosters a culture of mutual respect and accountability. Medium
• Applies critical thinking to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions; comfortable navigating ambiguity and resolving operational challenges. High
• Adaptable to evolving business needs and processes; supports and drives change initiatives by engaging stakeholders, minimizing resistance, and ensuring smooth transitions. Medium

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
