Overview

The Global Benefits Manager is responsible for the delivery, execution, communication, and education of global health, wellness, retirement and mobility benefit programs aligned to AIT's Core Values and Key Performance Indicators. This role leads a team of benefits professionals and partners closely with local and global stakeholders to deliver an efficient, compliant, and positive teammate experience. The Global Benefits Manager manages vendor and broker relationships to ensure strong partnership, engagement, and service delivery, and supports benefits integration as the company continues to grow organically and through acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Manage administration of benefits policies, processes, and programs for U.S. teammates
  • Manage, develop, and maintain global benefits policies and best practices aligning for regional HR/Benefits teams for local adaptation and adherence.
  • Manage global core benefits programs offered to all teammates across the organization in partnership with regional HR/Benefits teams to effectively adapt and deliver programs locally.
  • Manage vendors/partners, program changes, vendor contracts, compliance requirements and invoicing to ensure program offerings and delivery meets the needs of the organization.
  • Manage the delivery of U.S. benefits annual enrollment, coordinating with international teams to support their delivery of local enrollment.
  • Work on special projects as required, including, but not limited to, acquisitions, benefit program additions or changes, etc.
  • Manage the execution of the benefits communication strategy enhancing the understanding and value of the company’s global benefit programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent, Payroll, Finance, and external providers to build and manage global mobility programs and processes (including policy governance, vendor management, benefits implications, and teammate support) to enable compliant and consistent moves across regions.
  • Resolve escalated issues, concerns, appeals, and claims from teammates and with external vendors/partners in partnership with the Benefits team, adhering to internal KPIs. Escalate trends or broader issues to benefits leadership.
  • Develop and deliver training for teammates, managers, and HR partners on benefits programs, best practices, and related processes and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the team that increase efficiency, drive a better teammate experience, and/or increase internal ways of working across departments.
  • Lead and develop a benefits team, including performance management, coaching, and career development.
  • Maintain current knowledge of global benefits compliance and regulations, in partnership with external resources, and stay apprised of upcoming changes.

  • The wage range for this position is $114,540.00-$171,800.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Qualifications

Education
• Some College/Associate's Degree (required)
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience
• 7+ years progressive benefits experience in fast-paced, growth organizations (required)
• 2+ years supervisory and/or people management (required)
• 2+ years U.S. self-funded Plan administration (required)
• 1+ years Benefits Management (preferred)
• 1+ years Global Benefits (preferred)

Licenses and Certifications
• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)-IFEBP - Upon Hire (preferred)
